Is functional medicine telehealth available in Arizona?
Yes. Dr. Chris Chianese, MS, DC, CPSC, IFM FMCP, sees Arizona residents by secure video visit for functional medicine care. Your Health Now does not have a physical office in Arizona; every functional medicine visit for Arizona residents is a telehealth visit.
Is telehealth legally licensed in Arizona?
Telehealth licensing rules vary by state and by provider type. Our team confirms licensing and scope of practice before your first visit; call or ask during your free consult if you have questions specific to Arizona.
How does your care plan come together in Arizona?
Functional medicine care is built around your history, symptoms, and goals. If additional bloodwork or diagnostics would help, your doctor discusses the options with you directly, since this can depend on your specific case and location in Arizona.
What needs an in-person visit instead of telehealth?
Telehealth covers the conversation, review of your history, and the care plan itself. A physical exam or chiropractic adjustment requires visiting one of our two clinics in Merchantville, NJ or Chalfont, PA. Arizona residents who want any in-person component would need to travel to one of those two clinics.
What does functional medicine telehealth cost, and is it covered by insurance?
Pricing and insurance coverage for functional medicine telehealth depend on your plan and the services involved. The free 30-minute consult call is the best way to get a straight answer for your Arizona coverage before you book a paid visit.
How care works from Arizona
Arizona care is video only. There is no local clinic, and a same-week trip to Merchantville or Chalfont is not part of the plan. What video covers is the consult, your history, symptoms, and goals, the decision about whether a personalized care plan makes sense, and follow-up with Dr. Chris.
Most of Arizona stays on Mountain Standard Time all year and does not move the clocks. Our clinics observe Eastern daylight time, so the gap is three hours in summer and two hours in winter. A 9:00 a.m. Eastern booking is 6:00 a.m. in Phoenix in the summer and 7:00 a.m. in the winter. The Navajo Nation does observe daylight saving time, so that part of the state tracks Mountain time with the seasonal shift.
Pick a slot you will actually be awake for. The free consult is a conversation about whether this care fits, not a form you can click through half asleep.
Most of Arizona is two hours behind our clinics in winter and three hours behind in summer. The Navajo Nation observes daylight saving time.
